Jaw War 2025 Finals: TLDS Announces New Date

The Literary and Debating Society (TLDS), University of Ibadan, has officially announced a new date for the finals of Jaw War 2025. The finals, which marks the culumination of the biggest public speaking event in sub Saharn Africa, will now hold on Saturday, November 15, 2025.

In a statement released on Tuesday, November 4, TLDS described the forthcoming finals as a celebration of intellectual excellence, promising “an exciting and top-notch experience, filled with fiery speeches and unforgettable moments.” The shift in date comes amid growing anticipation from Uites. 

The statement signed TLDS President, Babatimehin Peace (Asíwájú), and General Secretary, Mayowa Adekola (MAP), the release encouraged the public to look forward to what it called the “grand conclusion of an inspiring season.”
