When you do these, Remember
By Esther Arikanki (LOVETH)
When you see the star,
Remember one thing,
That every good deed deserves another.
And love stretched out will bring out others
When you offer kindness,
Remember one thing,
What goes around comes around surely.
So cast your bread upon the waters,
For it will always find its way back.
When you feel the wind,
Remember one thing,
A kite rise against the wind,
Not with it.
What pushes you will lift you.
When you see the moon,
Remember one thing,
Even in darkness, it still shines,
For every cloud has a silver lining.
When you see a smile,
Dash some out.
For who knows whose glumpy heart
You little smile fixed.
When you hear laughter,
Join in gently.
For Joy shared doubles itself.
And a cheerful heart does good like medicine.
When you're overlooked,
Stand still and smile.
And remember one thing
Even a standing tree gives shade,
Though no one applauds it's root.
When you feel the rain,
Lift your face to it.
Remember that it takes both sun and storm,
To make the earth fruitful.
When you hear a song,
Dance to it, lift your feet with it!
For the world steps aside for those who groove,
And happiness often hides in a good tune.
