Samsung Nigeria Opens Branch at the University of Ibadan

On the 15th of October, 2025, Samsung Nigeria launched a new walk in store at the University of Ibadan. The new walk in store is located opposite B and 1 beside Queen Idia Hall. 

The event was attended by the Deputy Dean of Students, Academic Arm Committee, Students’ Union Leader, other distinguished others and members of the school community. 

The event kicked off with the ribbon cutting ceremony performed by the Deputy Dean of Students followed by gyrations, giveaways and a call for 50 students to serve as brand ambassadors for Samsung in the school environment.

Representatives from Samsung’s Marketing Department and Internship Committee spoke about the company’s commitment to students' growth and access to digital technology. They also announced installment payment plans to enable students to conveniently own smartphones. 

In conclusion, Samsung reassured the university community of its dedication to promoting development, innovation, and progress among students.
