UI Announces Cutoff Marks For Courses Across Faculties

Following the UTME examinations held about three weeks ago, the long wait for aspirants has been eased with the release of the 2025/2026 departmental admission cut-off marks on August 30.

The university has officially made the cut-off marks public. The Faculties of Education, Arts, and Science set a general cut-off of 50, with exceptions for certain courses such as Education and English in the Faculty of Education, Microbiology in the Faculty of Science, and Linguistics, Arabic Studies, and Theatre Arts in the Faculty of Arts.

Similarly, the Faculty of Agriculture adopted the 50 cut-off baseline, with a few exceptions. On the other hand, professional courses maintained significantly higher marks. Medicine and Surgery recorded a cut-off of 78.875, while Nursing followed closely at 71.375.
