Upkeep Loan To Be Tied To Academic Session As NELFUND Reviews Disbursement Policy

The Nigerian Education Loan Fund has announced a change in the upkeep loan policy, informing the populace that upkeep loan disbursement henceforth shall be during the academic session only.

In a release made by NELFUND, signed by Mrs. Oseyemi Oluwatuyi, the Director of Strategic Communications, "In line with this directive, students shall only be entitled to an upkeep loan for their current academic session. Upon the conclusion of an institution's academic year, upkeep payments for that session will automatically cease."

Further emphasis is laid on the automation of the loan portal to reflect only the upkeep loans collected by each student per session. NELFUND pledges her loyalty to providing accessible and efficient loans while encouraging institutions to upload their academic calendars and sessional information timely.
