The Junior Chamber International Nigeria (JCIN), University of Ibadan chapter, has announced the commencement of its 2025 recruitment exercise, calling on passionate students to join the network of young active citizens committed to leadership, impact, and global change. JCI is a global network of young active citizens committed to creating positive change. With presence in over 100 countries, JCI provides a platform for young people to develop leadership skills, take action in their communities, and connect with like-minded individuals worldwide.

With the bold campaign tagline “JCI Who? JCI YOU!”, the chapter is extending an invitation to undergraduates to step into a movement that has produced global leaders across diverse sectors. According to the announcement, joining JCIN UI goes beyond membership, it is an opportunity to walk a path that nurtures world-class leadership, personal growth, and community impact.

In a conversation with Oluwakanyinsola Prisca Leigh, a representative of JCIN UI, she said “Joining JCI means becoming part of a movement that is committed to building better individuals and, together, a better society. People are therefore encouraged to join to gain transformative experience that goes beyond ordinary membership.”

Interested students are encouraged to begin their journey by filling out the recruitment form and joining the official wait-list group for updates.

The recruitment drive is, however, not open to finalists.
