UI Students’ Union Secures Final 24-Hour Fee Payment Extension

 The University of Ibadan Students’ Union has announced on the 7th of July 2025, a final 24 hour extension for fee payment and course registration following the closure of the student portal on June 30.

In a press release signed by the President, Covenant Odedele, and General Secretary, Segun V. Olowu, the union disclosed that it had engaged in extensive deliberations with university management to secure a last opportunity for affected students to complete their payments and registration.

According to the memo, "The portal reopened at 10 AM today, July 7, and will close finally and irrevocably by 10 AM on July 8, 2025"

The Union emphasized its commitment to ensuring no student is left behind due to financial or administrative challenges and urged students to take full advantage of the grace period.

“We appreciate everyone for their understanding and continued trust in our leadership,” the statement concluded.
