Now that exams are approaching, that feeling of anxiety too is approaching but, hold up! There's something that can tickle your fancy better than anxiety. They're exam fun facts, ride along.
The first ever exam was hundreds of years ago.
Way before calculators and pencils, ancient Chinese officials were sitting super tough exams in 605 AD to become government workers. They had to memorize entire books of poetry and philosophy. Indeed, this age is the best, I do not appreciate memorizing an entire book.
There’s a real fear of exams, it is called testophobia.
Once that feeling of anxiety steps in, I'd have you know you're not alone. Testophobia is the fear of taking tests or exams. This is very real. Symptoms include, Sweaty palms, racing heart, sudden memory blank? Totally normal. The good news? Talking about your fears, and deep calming breaths can help.
Sleep Helps You Remember Things.
Losing sleep can actually lead to worse memory recall. That’s because your brain stores new info while you’re catching some sleep.
There are people who love taking exams
Yes, really. Some people take loads of exams just for fun. A man named Michael Nicholson has 30 University Degrees which is pretty amazing as one degree can take at least years to complete. He probably has a whole cupboard just for certificates.
Still, it shows exams don’t always have to be scary, they can be satisfying too. Especially if you collect them like stickers.
Exams can be as fun as their facts, just make sure you breath and shine through it.
