UI’SRC Releases Memo on the Resolution of the First Ordinary Sitting.

The Students’ Representative Council (SRC), on the 12th of May, 2025, released a memo on the resolution of the first ordinary sitting which was held on the 10th of May, 2025. 

The meeting commenced at 10:58 AM, with the Council deliberating on holding a congress on the 17th of May, 2025. The proposed congress is in accordance with students' demands and proposals. As stated in the memo, the congress shall be an avenue where students’ concerns will be expressed and appropriate solutions provided. 

The memo, signed by the Speaker and Clerk, highlighted that the Finance Committee’s budget which amounted to N4,660,460.00 was collectively approved to fund the Freshers’s Week Welcome Program. It was noted that initiative is designed to welcome and initiate Freshmen into the institution’s traditions and values.

Honourable Sulaimon Afeez Olaposi was sworn in as a member of the 12th Assembly of the Students’ Representative Council. He proclaimed his oath of office to discharge his constitutional duties and be a worthy representation of the institution. The meeting was adjourned at 5:18 PM.
