Queens Hall freshers football team emerge as winner of freshers cup female category

On 15th May, 2025, the Inter-Hall freshers cup final match was played at the SUB football pitch, with Queens Hall team emerging as the winner of the female category. 

The Queens Hall freshers team played in the final against Queen Idia Hall team.

The match started at about 4:48pm, much later after the scheduled time of 4pm. During the first half, Queens Hall scored their two goals. The third goal was scored through a penalty after the Queen Idia Hall defender handled the ball into the box. 

The match ended with a full time score of 5:0. The names of the players are as follows:

3. Taofeek Sururoh Ayoola

4. Olasoji Heritage Erioluwanimi

5. Ojo Olamide Phebian

6. Eyitere Princess Machi

7. Angel Elizabeth Tonye Egba

8. Adekunle Adedayosola Macrina

In an interview with the Sport Secretary of Queens Hall, she expressed her satisfaction with the players stating how determination and strength are instrumental in any endeavor. 

Olasoji Heritage Erioluwanimi won the Most Valuable Player Award (MVP). The Queens Hall team goalkeeper, Eyitere Princess Machi won the best goalkeeper award.
