At 12pm, the orientation program began, hosted by Akíntúndé Blessing, the PRO, and later Oluwatamilore Dunmade. The Hall Warden, Assistant Hall Wardens, and Hall Supervisor were in attendance, advising freshers to be law-abiding, dress decently, and avoid trouble. Refreshments were served to the Queenites.
The evening's gyration, themed "Colors on Denim," featured the Miss Queens Freshers pageant, which saw Taiwo Kehinde emerge as the winner. The judges were former Miss Queens and Miss Heritage winners from the 2022/2023 academic session.
In an interview, Hall Chairperson Anifowose Nofisat expressed her appreciation in the successful turnout and massive participation of freshers as standout aspects of the event. She praised the PR team's efforts and the freshers' eagerness to participate. She advised freshmen to believe in themselves, support each other, and celebrate every moment. She concluded by saying, "Home is where the heart is, and for us, Queens is home." The event ended at 8:30 pm.
