Council of Defence Ministers Reaffirm Commitment To Students’ Security and Safety

In a welcome address released on 27th May, 2025, the council of Defence Ministers also known as the campus defenders expressed their dedication and commitment to collaboration and innovative solutions in the realm of security.

“The scope of our mandate is comprehensive. We are fully equipped and resolutely prepared to address a wide spectrum of issues, including, but not limited to, any form of criminal cases that may arise within the student area”, the campus defenders stated in the address.

They also communicated that every matter would be treated with seriousness, diligence, promptness  and transparency. They stated further that, “If you find yourself in a situation requiring the intervention of the campus defenders, do not hesitate to reach out to the members of the council.”

The address was concluded with the signatures of Owonifaari Oreoluwa, the Chairman and Omolaye Boluwatife, the General secretary.
