ASSE and KHE Equalize in Female Category opener

The 7th edition of the SEALS Cup Female category began with a match between the Department of Arts and Social Science Education (ASSE) and the Department of Human Kinetics (KHE). The teams took to the pitch at 4:31 pm. The match started officially at 4:36 pm after the ceremonial kick-off.

KHE scored the first goal in the 3rd minute through Favour from a free-kick. ASSE equalized in the 14th minute with Esther scoring after receiving a pass from Abigail. The score was 1-1 at halftime.

In the second half, KHE took the lead again with Favour scoring in the 1st minute. ASSE equalized in the 11th minute with Ololade scoring after receiving a pass from Abigail. The match ended 2-2 after both teams had opportunities to score but failed to break the deadlock
