University of Ibadan Students' Union Addresses School Fee Discrepancies and Increase

On the 21st April, 2025 the University of Ibadan Students' Union issued a press release expressing concern regarding discrepancies in school fees across various departments. 

As stated in the press release, the Student Union has initiated dialogues with university authorities to address these issues and ensure that student voices are heard. The Union emphasized on the importance of transparency and fairness in the university's financial processes.

"We are currently engaging in dialogues with the relevant school authorities to seek viable solutions that are in the best interests of our students.”

The Students' Union reassured students of their commitment to advocating for equitable treatment and highlighted the need for patience as they navigate the situation. They emphasized that the welfare of students remain a top priority.

“We are committed to keeping the student body informed of our progress and any significant development in this crucial matter, and we remain dedicated to advocating for the welfare of all students and ensuring your concerns are addressed effectively.”
