Queen Elizabeth II Hall Hosts a Cleanup Scheme, In Partnership With Plogging Nigeria, UI

On the 26th of April, 2025, Queen Elizabeth II Hall in collaboration with Plogging Nigeria held an environment clean up scheme at the hall. The monthly sanitation exercise which kicked off with the April Edition involved volunteers and members of the hall. The event commenced at 8 AM where members converged at I block for a brief workout session. Following that, volunteers were divided into groups and provided with protective gear such as, nose masks, gloves, and disposable nylons.

The team of volunteers worked in batches, clearing all blocks from A to I. Refuse picked from within the hall was recycled. The event came to an end at 10 AM with the Hall Chairperson, Anifowose Nafisat, stating how the event was a success owing to the committed and collaborative efforts made by Queenites. She also encouraged Queenites to continue keeping the hall clean, noting, “A clean queen is a healthy queen, queen of the throne, cleans the home”.
