UI’TLDS releases election results as Babatimehin Peace emerges President

On Monday, 3rd of March, 2025, The Literary and Debating Society, University of Ibadan elected the executives for the 2024/2025 Session. The election took place around 6pm in the UI-SU SRC with 21 persons present, to vote.

Babatimehin Peace emerged President with a total of 20 votes and one void vote.

Olatunji Oladoyin Esther emerged Vice President with 21 votes

Goodness Akinloye emerged PRO with a total of 17 votes

Mayowa Adekola Peculiar emerged General Secretary with 15 votes

Michael Filade emerged Treasurer with 21 votes

After the election results were announced, Babatimehin Peace expressed his satisfaction and appreciation to everyone who made his emergence a success. He affirmed his commitment to the society and promised to move it forward by working with his executives. The election was concluded around 8pm.
