Queen Elizabeth II Hall Holds Sessional Dinner Party, Themed: ÓGAJÙ

Queen Elizabeth II Hall, on 7th March,2025 its sessional dinner party themed: Ogaju 2025. The event started at about 5:20pm.
The event was a "make believe” wedding ceremony of Anike Adeniyi-Coker and Kolade Olawuyi-Stone from the families of Otunba Jide and Erelu Lola Adeniyi-Coker, the bride's parents and Rt. Rev. Simon and Prof. Ann Olawuyi-Stone, the groom's parents.
In attendance were the Hall warden, Dr. Omokhabi Abiola, Assistant Hall Wardens Dr. Adewunmi, Dr. Folusho Bolaji-Alabi, Dr. Omolola Kayode-Olawoyin, the hall Supervisors Mr. Olaniyan, Mr. Oladepo, Mrs. Nnaji, some hall Porters, newly inaugurated Student union executives, other notable individuals in University of Ibadan and residents of the Hall.
Queenites turned up in their numbers to the dinner party in traditional attires as they were entertained by Moshey and the afrodynamic band.
The Wedding reception, hosted by Precious Ibeh featured different games between the bride and groom’s friends, dance in by the couple and cutting of the wedding cake.
The Hall chairperson, Mojoyinoluwa Agbonde, at the dinner launched a Honor's list in fulfilment of a manifesto plan named "The Hall chairperson’s Honors List" to award Queenites that have performed excellently in different categories. She expressed gratitude to Queenites for their support through the administration. The award was sponsored by Nosakhare Ijebor, the Queen Elizabeth II Hall PRO 2020/2021 session.

The Queens Hall awards were presented to Queenites in different categories including Most supportive fresher, stalite and finalist, most politically inclined fresher, stalite and finalist among others.

Floor Rep of the year - Onipede Moyo
Second Floor Rep - Isolo Blessing

Most supportive finalist - Rahman Basira
Most active finalist - Aribanusi Nifemi
Most politically inclined finalist - Ande Dooshima
Most supportive finalist - Onipede Moyo
Most supportive finalist - Rahman Basira
Stakeholders of the hall, residents representing the hall at the union level and the union electoral commission were also recognized and presented certificates.
The dinner ended with attendees stepping on the dance floor to celebrate with Anike and Kolade.
