Queen Elizabeth II Hall Holds Its End of Session Rally and Carnival

Following the emergence of Queen Elizabeth II Hall week, on the 2nd of March, 2025, Queen Elizabeth II Hall held its rally and carnival themed, Army Slayers. 


The residents of Queen Elizabeth II Hall converged at Queens Hall Car Park where they came in with a touch of Camo. In attendance was the Hall Warden of Queen Elizabeth II Hall, Dr Omokhabi and the Hall Supervisor, Mr Olaniyan with the residents of the Hall. 

The rally commenced around 3:30 PM, where they marched from one hall to another. The halls covered were; Mellanby, Tedder, Sultan Bello, Nnamdi Azikiwe, Independence, Queen Idia and Kuti Hall. The event showcased different styles, alongside the dancers and the residents who maintained a positive energy to make the atmosphere lively. 

The rally came to an end around 6: 00 PM, where Queenites returned to their hall awaiting their anticipated carnival. The carnival began at 7: 00 PM at Queens Car Park where residents converged to celebrate. Present at the carnival were the Student Union President, Aweda Bolaji, House Secretary, Elemide Daniel and Assistant General Secretary, Christopher Onuh.


Reactions from Queenites; “The rally was interesting, I enjoyed myself”. “I got to dance, it was really interesting”. “The rally was lit. The vibes from the girls and the support was amazing”, another said.
