CLOSURE OF HALLS OF RESIDENCE FOR THE 2023/2024 ACADEMIC SESSION

Following the recent announcement made by the dean of student in regards to the official closure of the 2023/2024 Academic Session on 26th March 2025, all student must vacate the halls of residence with their belongings on or before 06.00pm the specified date. However, exemptions have been made for students undergoing Industrial training, teaching practices, practical trainings, etc.
Queen Elizabeth II hall and Kenneth Mellamby hall will be made available to temporarily accommodate these students for a period of 16 days between Thursday, 21st March and Friday 11 April, 2025.
To secure an accomodation, interested applicants have been instructed to obtain an authority to pay(ATP) slip at Lodgings Unit, Student Affairs Division and pay the approved sum of three Hundred naira per day to the Microfinance bank, University of Ibadan and change the teller to receipt at Treasury Unit, Bursary. Also, postgraduate students will vacate their halls during a fumigation exercise.
According to the memo, students were instructed to comply and adhere strictly to the above mentioned directives as any unauthorized stay in the halls of residence will attract disciplinary actions.
