Covenant Odedele Wins Presidency as University of Ibadan Election Results Are Announced

The University of Ibadan has officially concluded its 2025 student elections.

For the position of President, Covenant Odedele emerged victorious with 4,572 votes, defeating Oluwole Ayomide Joy, who secured 1,561 votes. The Vice President-elect, Olabisi Owadayo, won with 4,234 votes, ahead of Ajao Oluwabukolami, who received 1,772 votes.

For the position of Public Relations Officer (PRO), Adekambi Ezekiel won with 3,384 votes, defeating his opponent, Seyi Ezekiel, who had 2,632 votes. Victor Kolawole secured the Sports Secretary position with 5,742 votes, while Bioku Oluwapelumi was elected Treasurer with 5,347 votes.

The House Secretary position was won by Adeyemi Oluwaseun with 3,294 votes, surpassing Adeboye Temidayo, who had 2,542 votes.
