Jawwar: Rise Of the Legends Finals Postponed Till Further Notice

The University of Ibadan Literary and Debate Society, TLDS has announced the postponement of the highly anticipated Jaw War Finals, originally scheduled for 8th January 2025, until further notice.

In a statement released on Monday, 6th January 2025, the club cited delays in securing critical arrangements with the university management. These include approval for the International Conference Center (ICC) as the venue, accommodation arrangements at the UI Hotel for invited schools, and ensuring the attendance of key university officials.

The club has assured the public that a new date for the finals will be communicated as soon as all necessary arrangements are finalized.
