The Queen Elizabeth II Hall community mourns the loss of Mrs. Adeola Nnaji, a beloved non-teaching staff member and porter at Queens Hall, who passed away following a battle with colorectal cancer, Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) and Ischaemic Colitis.
As a porter at Queens Hall, Mrs. Nnaji was known for her unwavering dedication, warmth, and motherly presence. Residents of the Queen Elizabeth II Hall and Obafemi Awolowo Hall, where she was previously stationed, remember her as a kind-hearted individual who went above and beyond to create a nurturing environment for all.
Her death leaves a void not only in the University of Ibadan community but also in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
May her soul rest in perfect peace.
