Queen Elizabeth II Hall Holds Candle Night Procession for Mrs. Adeola Nnaji

Following the death of our dearly beloved porter, Mrs Adeola Nnaji, who had passed away fighting a battle with Colorectal Cancer, Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) and Ischaemic Colitis, residents of Queen Elizabeth II Hall on the 28th of November, 2024, held a candle night procession in honour of Mrs Adeola Nnaji to pay their last respect to their beloved porter.
In attendance was the Assistant Hall Warden, Dr Abiodun Adewunmi, Mrs. Kehinde Obatoke (a relative of the deceased) the executives and the students from various blocks in the hall. The opening prayer was taken by the Vice Hall Chairperson, Angel Iyanuyimika, followed by the hymn.
Testimonies about her and her service to the hall were given by the executives. “She was a mother who was concerned about the well being of the students. She would ask about the health of the students” the Hall Chairperson, Mojoyinoluwa Agbonde added.
The gathering ended with a closing hymn and a vote of thanks by the Vice Hall Chairperson. The number of Queenites who came out is a testament to how she was truly loved and adored by all.
