A Public Release from Faculty of Science Following its Loss to Faculty of Social Sciences at Jaw War Preliminary Rounds.

 

In the early hours of Friday, 29, November 2024, The Literary and Debating Society, Faculty of Science released a public address renouncing the membership of Oluwabukolami Amoo, the Vice President of the society.

The statement was released following the loss of the Faculty of Science to the Faculty of The Social Sciences on Thursday, 28, 2024 Jaw War Rise of Legends preliminary round.

Oluwabukunmi Amoo’s membership and Vice President position was terminated because of her lack of commitment to representing her Faculty. “She even informed the President, Bayo Salaudeen, that she had started writing and we believed her”.

“On November 21st, 2024, she revealed to the president that she would be speaking for her hall instead at the preliminary round“. 

The pubic statement further stated that in a bid not to pull out of Jaw war, the President had to deliver the speech himself. 

“The President took it upon himself, had no time to fully internalize and he delivered the speech himself”.

“This was the president’s first loss as a public speaker”. It further stated.

This makes it the second second press release in a week from constituencies competing at the Jaw War competition.
