Ayomide Olayiwola was born on the 11^th day of July 1998 and studied Law at Bowen University, Iwo, Osun state. He spent a very large part of his life in the ancient Yoruba city, Osogbo, along with his younger brother and mother, whom he identifies as his source of humour and the supplier of his comedy ideas.

In 2020, Layi embarked on a new chapter in his career by going into skit-making. He leverages social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram and especially YouTube.
