UI SU: The enticing and Fascinating trade fair on Monday.

The Student Union of the University of Ibadan started a trade fair week on the 4th of March, 2024 where students and non-students or young entrepreneurs who sell various kinds of goods and services have the opportunity to sell and display their goods for sale and eye-feeding at the SUB car park.

The trade fair is a shoot of a customized tush market where various branded wears, jeweleries, bags, hats, scarves, shoes, skin care products, fragrance, and even edibles like jollof rice, cakes, kilishi, Ice-cream, Zobo, tigernut drink, chips and chicken are sold as at discounted prices. Students coming from classes get to buy these products at a closer distance. The small market was made lively by a DJ which was organized by the student union committee to publicize, announce brand represented and products sold. The DJ moves around to each wear displayed and announces what each unit sells to make people aware of the goods and services available at the small market square. Danceable music was being played to give both the buyer and seller vibes, even when there were sales or not, it kept the sellers' mood at a very exotic level. Unlike the usual market where the music heard is the voices of buyers and sellers negotiating prices.

The GLO network brand graced the occasion to help students who have issues with their network rectify whatever challenge or complaint they've been encountering. The beauty cognoscente also added colour to the trade fair event where skin care products are displayed and services are rendered to students who need help with skin care products that will help them have glowing skin. Those who had the mind of feeding the eye end up buying for the hands or mouth.
