JCI N UI HOLDS GENERAL ASSEMBLY

 

                                         

                             

The University of Ibadan Junior chamber International (JCI UI) held her general assembly themed "From intention to impact: Building powerful leadership goals that drive change". The assembly took place at the Faculty of Social Science Large Lecture Theatre(LLT) on the 28th of January 2024 and started by 2:30pm.

The assembly preceeded with attendance registration for all attendees using a Scan QR Code to indicate as either one of guests,members of the organization and observers. The assembly started with the  citation of the JCI creed followed by the recognition of  certain individuals.

In attendance was the theme speaker for the assembly in person of Gafar Odubote  who is also the 2023 executive vice president for JCI Nigeria who was warmly welcomed by the host, Waheed Ojo the JCIN UI local  organization president. The presence of Personality of the month in the person of Mr Peace Adedokun was as well recognised and the board director for JCI Ibukun Awoseye.

Included in the meeting was the tendering of apologies for the absence of JCI members and those that came late, certification of the forum by the General legal Council, Shittu Ibrahim, movement of the deliberation of agenda and its adoption was done by the General Secretary, Okikiolu, presentation of the plan of actions of travel and tour for the local organization and the fifteen outstanding Personality awards (FOPA) by each of the unit directors.

Discussed further in the assembly was the theme of the  addressed by the invited guests, Mr Gafar Odobute and Mr Peace Adedokun who spoke broadly on the significance of change effected by the building of powerful leadership programme goals.
