UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN RELEASES Post-UTME RESULTS

The results of the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) screening conducted by the University of Ibadan on Monday, 20th February 2023, and Tuesday, 21st February 2023 have been released.

The Computer-Based Test (CBT) was conducted at the University of Ibadan Distance Learning Centre (DLC) at Ajibode for the students in humanities on the first day, while the students in the Sciences wrote theirs on the next day.

According to The Guardian, the total number of candidates who participated in the Post-UTME for the 2022/2023 academic session is 8,050 as compared to the usual large number of candidates that sat for the Post-UTME in previous years.

Just like how the information on the date, time, and venue for the Computer-Based Test was communicated through the university admission portal, the result of the Post-UTME screening exercise for both examination dates has been officially released, and candidates are expected to check their results on the admission portal. As usual, the cut-off mark for the Post-UTME is 50% and above.

According to an article titled “An evaluation of UI Post UTME Model” by the University of Ibadan’s pioneer Director of Public Communication, Olatunji Oladejo, as published on ui.edu.ng, it was stated that:

“Also, there had never been any complaints about our strict examination conditions on Post-UTME. UI will always sustain its integrity and salutary values. Truly, the model is a strategic reference point."
