History has it that in Egypt the moldy bread was used to treat infections and wounds, this is because they understand certain medicinal properties of some fungi.

Bread has its history for as far back as 10,000 years ago.

The first yeast bread was made accidentally, and it has been loved ever since then.

B vitamins are abundant in whole grains: Whole wheat bread is a good source of B vitamins like thiamin, niacin, and folate.

Did you know that whole wheat bread is a good source of fiber? One slice of whole wheat bread can contain up to 3-4 grams of fiber, which can help support digestive health and even lower cholesterol levels!

White bread when rolled up was used to erase writings before rubber erasers were invented.

Fiber helps to keep you satisfied, high fiber breads can keep you feeling fuller for longer.

Brain food: Whole grain bread provides complex carbs, which support sustained energy and focus during long study sessions.

Sailors and military men ate incredibly tough bread called hardtack. The word “tack” comes from sailor slang for food, and this bread was baked up to six times, making it incredibly hard, this was because it could last for a long time at sea or war without going bad. This hardness gave it the nickname ‘HARD TACK’
