Defending champion, Zik hall suffers defeat as Queen Idia Hall, Faculty of Law and two others proceed to the final round

The semi final round for the inter Hall of residence and inter faculty debate was held on the 17th of December at Faculty of The Social Sciences (LLT).

The inter faculty round staged a face-off between the Faculty of Law and Faculty of Arts; Faculty of The Social Sciences and Faculty of Agriculture. The inter hall of residence round: Lord Tedder Hall and Queen Idia hall.

At the end of the debate, the Faculty of Law emerged with a total of 69% and the Faculty of Arts with a total of 65%; Faculty of the Social Sciences scored a total point of 73.5% and the Faculty of Agriculture, a total of 52.5. For the inter-hall round, Lord Tedder Hall of residence got a total of 75% and Queen Elizabeth ll hall, a total of 66.5%; Zik Hall emerged with a total of 60.75% while Queen Idia got a total of 64.75%.

Bobola James from the Faculty of The Social Sciences emerged as the best speaker for the inter-faculty rounds while Yahaya Dorcas from Queen Idia Hall emerged as the best speaker for the inter-hall of residence round.
