Alexander Brown Hall Literary and Debating Society Issues Public Statement

The Literary and Debating Society of Alexander Brown Hall has released a formal statement following the TLDS disciplinary hearing held on December 7, 2024. Their formal release was to address some issues in their public release made on November 27, 2024.

In the statement, the Alexander Brown Hall Literary and Debating Society admitted to making a groundless claim against the TLDS timekeeper, whom they accused of not knowing how timing works. They acknowledged the lack of evidence to support the accusation and apologized for wrongfully accusing the timekeeper of incompetence.

They also apologized for twisting an informal conversation involving the TLDS Vice President. Their first statement release portrayed the Vice President’s response to their grievances in a harsh tone.

Additionally, they addressed allegations of assault on judges made against a member of the ABH Literary and Debating Society.
