Queen Elizabeth II Hall Holds an Entrepreneurial Fusion Program

On Saturday, 16, November 2024, Queen Elizabeth II Hall had an entrepreneurship fusion program with the theme “Spark to Scale: Elevate your Expertise” at the Junior Common Room. 

 

The event was organised by the Vice hall chairperson, my Angel, in collaboration with various trainers, Flows Beadworks, Grace Olowe, and a speaker, Umoh Grace with the Hall Chairperson, Agbonde Mojoyinoluwa in attendance. 

 




The event started at exactly 10:30am with the opening speech given by the Vice Hall Chairperson, Iyanuyimika Angel, who said “the very aim of the program is to create an opportunity for young girls to have a shot at learning a skill. It is the pride of every lady to have learnt a skill or two”.


Umoh Grace, a speaker at the event gave a speech on the benefits of mastering entrepreneurial success and encouraging more people to step up and partake in it so as to make the world and economic sector better one step at a time thereby producing more job opportunities. She ended her speech with “entrepreneurship is not just about business but making an impact in the society around you”.

 

The seminar ended at exactly 1:00 pm following the commencement of the hands-on training. Queenites were taught different skills like bead making, paint production, soap making and photography. 

The training came to an end at exactly 3:30pm with the closing remark by the hall chairperson, Mojoyinoluwa Agbonde.
