Students’ Union Provides Update on GES Exam and Fee Review at the University of Ibadan

On August 25th, 2024, the Student Union of the University of Ibadan issued a statement addressing the memo circulating about the GES exams.
The statement, signed by the Student Union
President, Aweda Bolaji, and General Secretary, Ogundijo Dolapo Japheth,
announced that they have contacted management regarding the publication from
the Centre for General Studies (CGS). The Union also informed students that the
Union executives, along with other student leaders, would be meeting with
university management today, August 26th, 2024, to discuss the matter.
Additionally, the Union disclosed that the governing
council will meet on August 29th, 2024, to review the school fees as previously
agreed.
Students were assured that further updates would be communicated to them.
