Dove-Haven Foundation Hosts Final Inter-Faculty Quiz Competition at University of Ibadan

The Dove-Haven Foundation, in partnership with the Literary and Debating Society of the University of Ibadan, held its final inter-faculty quiz competition themed "What Do You Know About Cancer?" The event was held at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Auditorium at the University of Ibadan.

Following the preliminary rounds, which featured representatives from sixteen faculties, eight advanced to the semi-finals: Law, Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine, Renewable Natural Resources, Environmental Design and Management, Basic Medical Sciences, Technology, and Economics.

In the final round, Agriculture competed against Environmental Design and Management, while Renewable Natural Resources faced Veterinary Medicine. 

The Faculty of Agriculture was the second runner-up, with representatives Grace Kayode and Ololade Sadiq. The Faculty of Renewable Natural Resources secured the first runner-up position, represented by Olatunbosun Balkis and Marvelous Omotosho. The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine emerged as the winner, with Joseph Eze and Akande Dotun representing the faculty.

Cash prizes and plaques were awarded as follows: 20,000 Naira for the second runner-up, 30,000 Naira for the first runner-up, and 50,000 Naira for the winner. Additionally, the winning faculty received an extra 20,000 Naira.
