UI Student Union Legislative Council Announces Legislative Summit

The University of Ibadan Student Union Representative Council announced on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, calling all UI legislative members to attend. The event, scheduled for July 20, 2024, will be held at the Education Large Lecture Theater at 10 a.m. and is themed "Legislation as a Tool for Effective Governance."

In the broadcast released, it stated that registration is compulsory.

Powered by the 11th Assembly Legislative Summit Committee, the summit aims to bring together thought leaders, policymakers, and advocates to discuss the transformative power of sound legislative frameworks. The day's activities will include a panel discussion titled "Implementation of SDG 16 as Part of Good Governance."
