Native Pasta

Pasta is known for its versatility and simplicity; it offers a delightful dining experience irrespective of its form. Among the various types, spaghetti stands out as the most accessible and adaptable.

 

Combine two pasta varieties macaroni and spaghetti with enriched indigenous ingredients such as efinrin and ugwu leaves.

 

Ingredients:

- Spaghetti

- Macaroni

- Red bell peppers

- Onions

- Crayfish

- Seasoning cubes

- Salt

- Scent leaves

- Ugwu leaves

- Panla Fish

- Palm oil

 

Cooking Instructions:

1. Boil macaroni and spaghetti in salted water for 10 minutes.

2.  Blend red bell peppers and onions, setting the mixture aside.

3. Fry the Panla Fish until golden and set it aside.

4. In a pan, heat palm oil and add the blended pepper and onion mixture. Sauté for 2 minutes.

5. Introduce seasoning cubes, and crayfish, and add fried fish to the sauce. Continue frying for 5 minutes.

6. Drain the pasta after the allotted boiling time.

7. Combine the drained pasta with the prepared sauce, ensuring an even distribution.

8. Incorporate efirin and ugwu leaves into the mixture, gently folding to preserve flavours.

9. Serve the Native Pasta dish accompanied by a refreshing chilled drink.
