Junior Chamber International Inducts New Members

On July 28, 2024, the Junior Chamber International (JCI) University of Ibadan held its induction ceremony for new members at the Large Lecture Theater (LLT), Lakeside, Faculty of Science. The General Assembly commenced shortly after 2:00 PM, with the induction ceremony proper which began at 5:49 PM.

Eighty-eight inductees were certified after successfully passing through rigorous exams and interviews. The ceremony included a recitation of the JCI Creed, after which the inductees were officially declared members of the JCI University of Ibadan chapter.



The Directorate of Induction delivered a speech, followed by presentations of assigned projects by the new members. Each group of inductees selected two representatives for the presentations. The project presentations concluded around 7:00 PM, with the third group winning the competition, scoring 84.1%, as determined by the judges. Awards were given to all participating groups, as well as to the best inductee and the most promising inductee.

The assembly then discussed JCI affairs and other business matters. The event concluded at 7:14 PM with the recitation of the JCI Vision and Mission.
