TLDS presents Jaw war '24: Faculties and Halls chosen against another

TLDS - The literary and debating society of UI chapter held a press conference regarding Jaw War, one of the most anticipated public speaking events in the University of Ibadan at Room 71, faculty of Arts on the 11th of November, 2023. 

The event which had in attendance the Senate representatives of faculties, Literary and Denating presidents and press men commenced with the press statement by the TLDS president Aweda Bolaji. He stated that, "the event will feature over 30 debates, encompassing various sectors and industries, jaw war will be expanding the scope of the competition to involve more universites especially in south west Nigeria. The finals will see 7 different universities from south west Nigeria wrestle for the price".

Adebayo Abdulrahman, the former Vice-President of The Literary and Debating Society, University of Ibadan,was the instructor of the ballot election where he explained the concept.

The results of the ballot was released and some debating societies will face the same opponents they faced last yea such is Queens Elizabeth II hall speaking against Nnamdi Azikiwe  hall just like they did last year .

The president of the Union was also in attendance, Samuel Samson Tobiloba, the vice-president Nafisat Ogunsesan and others . The press conference today and the announcement of the topics to be debated. This marked the beginning of the beginning of the Jaw War season.
