SCOTCH EGG
Scotch egg is a snack prepared by coating an egg with sausage meat, whisked egg, and flour mixed with seasonings. It is enjoyed worldwide and differs from traditional egg buns. Scotch eggs can be served with smoothies, drinks, or fruit juice. They derive their name from the process called "scotching" and have their origins in England.
Ingredients:
Eggs
Sausage Meat
Vegetable Oil for Deep Frying
Plain Flour
Bread Crumbs
Dried Thyme
Rosemary
Black Pepper
Cayenne Pepper
Nutmeg (1 Teaspoon)
Spring Onion
Knorr Chicken Seasoning Cubes
Directions:
Boil the eggs and generously season the sausage meat with Knorr Chicken seasoning cubes.
Roll out the sausage meat and wrap it around the boiled egg until the egg is completely encased in sausage meat.
Mix plain flour with dried thyme, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and rosemary.
Coat the sausage-wrapped egg with the flour mixture, followed by whisked eggs, and finally, breadcrumbs.
Fry the coated egg until it turns golden brown.
