REALTORS CONTINENT HOLDS REAL ESTATE CONFERENCE.

Realtors Continent held a real estate conference on the 14th
of October at the Faculty of Social Science Large Lecture Theatre, University
of Ibadan. The program tagged 'Follow the Money', started at 11:08 as against the 10 a.m. schedule
due to the late arrival of the guests and the organization of things for the
event.
The program began with the recitation of the National Anthem
and this was followed by the introduction of the concept of real
estate addressed by Mr. Olamide Adesanya,
the convener of the conference. In his address, he stated, "Real estate has made more millionaires
than any other industry". He also revealed that the conference was held to
empower the young with expensive skills, entrepreneurship content, and lots
more creativity.
The conference featured the citation of Prof Bernard
Omowumi, a professor of Sociology University of Ibadan who addressed the
audience, rendition of spoken words by Jerubal, giveaway sessions, a rap
session by a FATSSSA student,
recognition of all the guest speakers, Sigma club and the Financial
Secretary of FATSSSA.
The main speaker in the person of Mr Paul Olubori, a forex trader and a real estate manager talked about embracing the present to upgrade the future. He stated, "Gratitude opens you up to the next level". He also revealed in his speech that school is a passage to access people for a successful lifetime and narrated his experience about how life squeezed him he produced something from it. He concluded by rendering words of affirmation as a wake-up call to everyone present. A part of his speech also implored the young ones to build their lives in chains and patterns not in cycles.
The program ended with a closing remark from the convener.
In his remarks, he appreciated the guest speakers and the volunteers and urged
the students to work hard and smartly in the business world, pointing out the
real estate business as a sure maker of money.
