My Mind
By Abraham Favour Olohigbe
I live in a world of thoughts,
I was born in the land of the mind.
Here words have different meanings
And thoughts do not ask for permission.
It's windy in all directions,
Bombards you with realistic and utterly
unrealistic thoughts.
A place of confusion,
With
foundations and buildings,
Built with no materials.
A world not seen but felt and heard,
It chokes man sometimes,
Makes man feel loved sometimes,
Even makes man crazy.
This land exists in different forms and
beings,
It can be subtle, silent, rigid,
protesting,
But in some forms it is an erratic
landmine.
