MATTER THAT MATTERS: KENNETH MELLANBY EARNED A SECOND CHANCE.

At the end of the preliminary rounds of the Inter Hall Oratory Contest organized by Asido Campus Network on Saturday 16^th September 2023, five halls were qualified for the final round of the competition scheduled to be held on Saturday, 30^th September, 2023. The Oratory Contest will be holding at Trenchard Hall.

Out of  the ten ndergraduate Halls on that Sturady, eight were present, excluding Queen Elizabeth II Hall and Queen Idia Hall. Lord Tedder Hall and the Great Independence Hall with a score of 59 and 79.67 respectively qualified unopposed for the final round since their opponents didn't show up.

At the end of competition, Nnamdi Azikwe Hall, Alexander Brown Hall, and Obafemi Awolowo Hall qualified for the final round with the automatic qualification of Lord Tedder Hall and the Great Independence Hall.

However, it was released recently that Lord Tedder has withdrawn from the competition. As a result of this, the committee in charge of the Oratory Contest has re-invited Kenneth Mellanby Hall who were the best loser to fill the space.

This makes it Sultan Bello Hall, Alexander Brown Hall, Obafemi Awolowo Hall, Great Independence Hall, and Kenneth Mellanby Hall who stand to face each other at the final round.
