QUEENS HALL FESTIVE SEASON KICKS OFF WITH CAROL NIGHT

The Queen Elizabeth II Hall had her Christmas Carol on Saturday, December 10, 2022. The event had begun to be publicized two weeks prior and experienced a high turnout of attendees, especially among the 100-level students. The event started at about 5:30 pm and was anchored by Ebunoluwa, a 200L student although the headline sponsors of the event, Indomie, had been around since 4 pm. The Hall Warden and the Hall supervisor (Mr Saheed Ojuolape) were present at this event.

The event featured hymns and special renditions. Part of the special renditions was the song a 100-level student, Oladunmade, sang; Silent Night. The carolers were ten in number and they were promised accommodation slots for the next session by the Hall Warden. The attendees were served Indomie and Chapman. Although the Indomie could not go around, especially for the latecomers, the Chapman was available to everyone.

The event ended at about 6:50 pm and Queenites were allowed to take pictures at the Indomie picture stand after which the sponsors left the hall at about 7:30 pm.

The executives had previously organised goodwill donations for the hall cleaners – an avenue that allowed Queenites to donate their foodstuffs to their floor representatives. The items were given to the cleaners after the Carol night.
