Queens Hall organises Social night for Freshers

The Queen Elizabeth II hall on Saturday, 6 November 2022, treated her freshers to a social night during the one-day freshers' welcome program. The event was fixed for the evening to give the freshers a good time to socialise and have fun. The event took place in front of the hall's cafeteria and while being a stripped-down event without the usual big stages and fancy dresses, it did not miss the goal it was created to achieve. The informal event had a lot of Queenites in attendance including finalists and satellites. 

The event began at 6:30 pm with few attendees but as time progressed, the numbers increased. The event featured a lot of games created by the MC among which is the popular " dance around the chair ". 

There was a food competition which earned the winner 5000 naira. For the dancing competition, the Social Director sprayed money on the best performers and encouraged the hypemen by spraying some money on them as well. It was a fun time that even saw the hostel accept some male students into the hostel. Palm wine and peppered ponmo were served to the attendees as refreshments. 

The event ended at 9:02 pm.
